Thank you for an incredible inaugural Navigators Swim Club Summer Recreational season! We saw tremendous growth in technique, speed, and confidence throughout the summer. Even more importantly, our swimmers consistently demonstrated positivity, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship toward both teammates and competitors. Every swimmer should be proud of the hard work they put in this season—we certainly are!

The future is exciting as we prepare to launch our first season as a year-round USA Swimming-sanctioned club team beginning August 3. Here's what you need to know:

• Training Groups: All summer swimmers (Rec and Club) have been pre-assigned to training groups. You can view your swimmer's group here: Continuing the Journey: Preassigned Training Groups.
  • Please note that these assignments are tentative and may change based on registration numbers. For example, if only one swimmer registers for a particular group, we may combine training groups rather than offer a separate practice for a single swimmer.
• Registration Steps: Everything you need to officially join the Navigators is available on our website under the Join Our Club Team tab, or by clicking here: Steps to Becoming a Navigator.
  • Please complete each step in order. As noted on the website, current Summer Recreational and Club swimmers may begin with Step 3.
• Registration & Practice Schedule: We will contact all registered Club swimmers during the week of July 27. This initial registration period allows us to finalize roster numbers before confirming practice groups and schedules.
  • Practices are tentatively planned for Monday through Friday between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Once registration is complete, we will publish the official practice schedule and continue refining it as our program grows.

We are also excited to welcome Nicole Waldo as our new Club/Rec Swim Team Manager! Nicole brings more than three years of USA Swimming club coaching and program management experience, along with extensive aquatics operations leadership through Cherokee County Parks & Recreation. A lifelong member of a respected swim family, she combines coaching expertise, operational experience, and a passion for athlete development.
