LA IMX/IMR Challenge Meet

LA IMX / IMR Challenge October 3–4, 2026 | Gainesville, GA The LA IMX / IMR Challenge, hosted by Lanier Aquatics, is a two-day USA Swimming sanctioned meet at the Frances Meadows Aquatics Center in Gainesville. The meet is divided into separate 12 & Under and 13 & Older sessions each day. Meet Schedule Saturday, October 3 12 & Under: Warm-up 8:00 AM | Meet begins 9:00 AM Sunday, October 4 12 & Under: Warm-up 8:00 AM | Meet begins 9:00 AM This is a Short Course Yards (SCY), timed-finals meet. Swimmers may compete in up to six individual events per day. Individual event fees are $7.00 per event, plus the applicable Georgia Swimming travel fee. USA Swimming Membership: Swimmers must be current USA Swimming members in good standing to participate in this meet. If you are unsure of your swimmer’s USA Swimming membership status, please contact us. Distance Events: Positive check-in is required for the 500 Freestyle and 400 IM. Swimmers competing in the 400 IM or 500 Free must provide their own timer and counter. Awards: Ribbons will be awarded for 1st–8th place in individual events. A special IMX and/or IMR award will be given to swimmers who complete all required events for their USA Swimming IMX and/or IMR achievement.
