The slides from our Parent Meeting on August 21 are now available on the Parent Resources page of our website. Since the meeting, a few items have been updated or clarified. We’ve included those updates below, along with several additional team resources and reminders for the season.

We know this is a longer update, but it includes important schedule changes, deadlines, and team information. Please take a few minutes to review the full message.

1. Parent Meeting Presentation

Families can view the Parent Meeting presentation on the Parent Resources page.

2. Natatorium Lap & Open Swim

Navigators Swim Club swimmers do not need to pay an additional admission fee for their own admission during designated lap and open swim times. Regular admission fees apply to other family members and guests.

Please refer to the natatorium schedule for current lap and open swim availability.

3. Equipment & Team Gear

Equipment requirements vary by training group. In addition to a training suit, team cap, and goggles, swimmers should have the training equipment listed for their group.

For swim meets, all swimmers should have their team suit, team cap, and goggles.

4. Meet Schedule

The current meet schedule is available under Meets & Events on the team website.

With the exception of our September 19 Intrasquad Meet, please use the current meet schedule as save-the-dates. Complete meet information, including session details, event availability, deadlines, and declarations, will be added as it becomes available.

All meets are subject to change.

5. Coach Nicole’s Office Hours

Coach Nicole is available during the following office hours for questions from families:

6. USA Swimming Registration

All swimmers must complete their USA Swimming registration for the season by October 1, 2026.

Registration instructions for both new and returning swimmers, information about USA Swimming membership options, and the Navigators registration link are available on the Parent Resources page. Scroll to the USA Swimming Resources section for complete information.

7. SwimTopia & Team Communication

With our first meet approaching, please make sure you have downloaded the SwimTopia Mobile App and have notifications enabled.

The app allows us to send push notifications for time-sensitive team information, including practice cancellations, weather or rain delays, meet-day updates, and other important announcements.

8. Intrasquad Meet — Saturday, September 19

Our Navigators Intrasquad Meet will be held Saturday, September 19 at the Billy & Barbara Cain Natatorium. This will be a short, non-sanctioned meet designed to give our swimmers a fun, low-pressure meet experience while allowing our team and volunteers to practice the logistics of hosting a meet in our new facility.

Please go to the Meets and Events page to declare swimmer attendance and sign up to volunteer; these are due by Thursday September 17th at 5:00 pm.

There are no meet fees for this event.

9. NEW! Practice Schedule Updates

Beginning Friday, September 11 (tomorrow!), we are adding a Friday afternoon practice option for the Age Group and Senior training groups:

• Age Group: Fridays, 4:30–5:30 p.m.
• Senior: Fridays, 4:30–6:00 p.m.

Beginning Monday, September 14, 10U2 is adding a Monday practice option. This means 10U2 will now have practice available Monday through Thursday from 4:00–5:00 p.m.

The revised 10&U practice schedule will be:

• 10U1: Tuesday–Thursday, 4:00–5:00 p.m.
• 10U2: Monday–Thursday, 4:00–5:00 p.m.
